Lenovo is a mainstay in every category of top laptops, from business laptops to 2-in-1 models. No one should be surprised to hear that Lenovo produces some of our favorite laptops, whether it’s the ThinkPad’s for work or the Legion laptops for gaming. There will be new laptops announced by Lenovo at CES 2024 this month, but if you’re want to buy one right now, there are some great options available at discounted prices.

The basic ThinkPad qualities that continue to make the X1 Carbon exceptional include its sturdy build (with MIL-STD-810G ruggedness), top-notch keyboard, and covert black/red design.
Although we would have preferred it if the ThinkPad X1 Carbon had retained the SD card slot and kept the top configurations affordable, we are unable to think of a better business laptop overall.

One of my favorite keyboards is compatible with the Legion 5 Pro; in fact, I went so far as to refer to it as my “keyboard soulmate” earlier this year. It distinguishes out as a top performer thanks to its 1.5 mm of key travel, dedicated space for the arrow keys, and touchpad.
The Legion 5 Pro may not have the most stunning screen, but it’s surprisingly good for a budget laptop. At this price point, it is often unheard of to get a DCI-P3 score of 82.4% and 319 nits of brightness. You won’t believe how powerful the audio system is.

In my opinion, there is no more aesthetically pleasing ThinkPad than the Lenovo ThinkPad Z13. It’s as if the ThinkPad had a steamy summer, visiting the beach while shaming rival laptops with its little stature and opulent design.
Having said that, appearances aren’t everything. It has a surprisingly high performance core, an ergonomic keyboard, and an insanely long battery life, so it can easily handle all of your work.
Of course, there are trade-offs with that touchpad, middling IPS display, and no ports. This is among the greatest choices if you need something that fits your lifestyle and are constantly on the move.

The Lenovo Thinkbook Plus Gen 3 is the first laptop of 2023 to actually wow us. Dreary-gray clamshell notebooks, lame-o Chromebooks, and black business workstations have been boring us to tears, and Lenovo has hit the scene with this invigorating dual-screen laptop.
The Thinkbook Plus Gen 3 has a beautiful main 17.3-inch, 3K display. It’s ultra-wide AF with a dazzling 21:10 aspect ratio. (I don’t think I’ve ever reviewed a laptop with a 21:10 aspect ratio!) And the secondary display is a sight to behold — it looks like someone shoved the keyboard to the left, cut a rectangle into the deck, and dropped in an 8-inch tablet for maximum productivity.
As someone who’s constantly cross-referencing different documents on Google Docs and Sheets, this dual-display setup has boosted my workflow beyond my wildest expectations.
8. Lenovo Duet 5 Chromebook

Compared to last year’s cheap Chromebook Duet, the new Lenovo Duet 5 Chromebook is a huge step up. Despite the increased price tag, this 2-in-1 is just as appealing due to the substantial hardware enhancements.
While the Duet 5 retains the previous model’s cloth back cover and keyboard cover, the 13.3-inch OLED display will make you reevaluate that price tag of less than $500. Beyond that, there are further enhancements, such as an upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 processor and a longer battery life of more than 13 hours.
The Chromebook Duet 5 has put on some muscle and is prepared to fight for the title, although it isn’t quite as nimble as the original.

An absolute workstation, this laptop has an 11th Gen Intel Core i9-11950H CPU, an Nvidia RTX A5000 GPU, and 32GB of RAM. When it comes to pure performance, the ThinkPad P15 Gen 2 is hard to beat. If the screen is really important to you, as it is for most creatives, you might want to look at getting an external display or getting an OLED panel.
